Description of Activities

The PGY-2 (CA-1) resident is assigned to the ENT anesthesia rotation for one month. He/She is responsible for preoperative evaluation, planning, intra-operative management, and postoperative assessment of all patients scheduled for ENT surgery and anesthesia. The resident works in cooperation with anesthesiology faculty with experience and interest in anesthesia for ENT surgery. This experience includes the care of pediatric patients for routine ENT procedures. The resident will attend morning conferences and Friday PBLDs.

CALL:

Residents take call in the OR/OB pool and are off the day after call.
