Collaborating and Depositing Reagents

The WRCEVA relies upon active collaborations and the generosity of the scientific community to collect and disseminate the most relevant and diverse collection of emerging viruses.

The WRCEVA remains a free resource to academic, industrial, and government laboratories. We will happily accept deposits of virus isolates and infectious clones. This both strengthens the WRCEVA collection and removes the burden of dissemination from the individual laboratories that produce these highly sought-after reagents. In addition to receiving known virus isolates, the WRCEVA is actively seeking collaborations to identify and isolate viruses from field and human samples and to lend our serology expertise to public health and surveillance programs.
