Henoch-Schönlein purpura
Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) is also known as anaphylactoid purpura and is characterized by "palpable purpura" which are 1 to 5 mm papules with petechial centers or completely purpuric papules. HSP is considered an IgA-mediated inflammation of small vessels. The mnemonic PAPAH can be used to remember the clinical features of HSP: Purpura, Abdominal Pain, Arthralgias and Hematuria.
