AO Trauma Fellowship
AO Trauma is the world’s largest global community for fostering excellence in orthopedic trauma. The UTMB Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is an AO Trauma Fellowship Host Center.
The AO Trauma Fellowship Program offers a unique educational experience to the most promising young surgeons in the entire field of orthopaedic surgery. With this program, AO Trauma provides the gateway to a worldwide network and fosters cross-pollination
and networking opportunities across our global community.
Fellows will have the opportunity to learn from leading AO Trauma experts in the carefully selected and renowned centers, covering the entire scope of orthopaedic surgical procedures performed around the world. The duration of the AO Trauma fellowship
program is from 6 to 12 weeks.
AO Trauma Fellowship applicants must be AO Trauma members.
The call for applications for the 2023 AO Trauma Fellowships is closed. The call for applications for the 2024 AO Trauma Fellowships will open from May 2–31, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact fellowship@aotrauma.org.
