Dr. Wentong Pan earned her medical degree from the Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine as well as her fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Pan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Pan has been working in the endocrinology field for over fifteen years. Her interest in diabetes, obesity, and metabolic syndrome led her to participate and complete several clinical research projects in the areas. Dr. Pan has presented these results in regional and national conferences.
Dr. Pan intends to maintain her interests in diabetes and obesity, while she continues to treat various disorders of general endocrinology. Her extensive clinical experience and solid research background helps her keep abreast of changes in the dynamic field of endocrinology and maximizes her ability to offer accurate therapies.
