Dr. Abdelmasih joins us with a strong background in both clinical practice and academic medicine. She received her MBBCh from Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Central Florida. During her residency, she was recognized by the American College of Physicians, Florida Chapter Women in Medicine, for her leadership, devotion, and excellence. She subsequently completed her fellowship training in Endocrinology at UTMB.
Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, Dr. Abdelmasih's clinical interests include diabetes management, weight management, and evidence-based medicine across all endocrinology disciplines. She is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare that addresses the unique needs of each patient.
Throughout her career. Dr. Abdelmasih has actively contributed to research and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care and operational excellence. She has published several peer-reviewed articles and presented her research at prestigious conferences, earning multiple recognitions, including the ENDO 2024 Presidential Poster Award in thyroid disease. Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society.
