Prescription Refill Options

Are you or your family members current patients at UTMB Health and do you need a prescription refill?

If your answer is yes, keep reading to learn about the options available to you and your family members.

Pharmacy

Option 1: Contact Your Pharmacy

If you know there are refills available on your prescription, your pharmacy can fill the prescription without having to contact your provider. Most pharmacies have great websites and/or mobile applications that can be accessed from your phone to allow you to easily manage your prescriptions.

Some pharmacies can also send a refill request to a UTMB Health provider if you are out of refills for certain medications, check with your pharmacy for all available services.

MyChart

Option 2: Use myChart

myChart puts your health care information in your hands. You can check myChart to see if you have remaining refills on a prescription or request a refill from your provider.

Not a current myChart user? You are missing out on some great features! Set up your myChart account today. You can also request Proxy access to your family member's accounts.

Call Clinic

Option 3: Call the Clinic

Not able to request a refill through your pharmacy or myChart, call the clinic to discuss your refill or set up an appointment with your provider. Click to see a full list of clinics by city.

The Access Center is alway here, 24/7. If you need to speak with someone about a prescription refill and/or leave a message for your provider about a refill, the Access Center can help. Call (409) 772-2222.
