Dr. Erickson recognized for teaching excellence

Michael Erickson, DO, MS, was awarded Recognition of Teaching Excellence by a clerkship student from the John Sealy School of Medicine. The SOM students were introduced to this award in June and they were encouraged to nominate faculty members who they felt had an important impact on their education. 

A message from Dr. Erickson:

“It is a honor to know that our mentorship has such an impact on the clerkship students.   Motivation and mentorship is a way to cultivate the potential of an individual so that they may reach their goals. We have the best students around, and it is a pleasure to work with them.”
