Drs. Cox, Shokrzadeh, and Blakely attended the 38th annual meeting of the Texas Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (TSVES) in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Blakely had two presentations; one was named “Complicated Removal of a Trapped Inferior Vena
Cava Filter” and one was on COVID-induced arterial thrombosis. Dr. Shokrzadeh was invited to give a talk on the integrated vascular surgery residency; her presentation's title was “How to Build a Rank List for the Residency Match.”
The TSVES annual meeting is a well-attended meeting by vascular surgeons throughout Texas that targets a wide spectrum of goals, but more notably they strive to “understand changes developing in the field of vascular surgical education" and
new innovations in the field of vascular surgery.
