Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Arjun Kumar recently presented the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery group abstract "Post-traumatic Deformity of the Face" to the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the most prestigious society
in the field. The presentation, which won the second place prize for best abstract in the Trauma category, elucidated the use of in-house planning software for facial reconstructive surgeries, which are significantly less expensive than commercial planning software. This advancement will reduce the cost and time required
for processing when planning out complex zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture repairs.
