Congratulations to Urology Division Chief Stephen Williams, MD, MBA, MS, FACS, for becoming the Associate Chief Medical Officer for the UTMB Clear Lake Campus!

Gal Levy, MD, a surgeon in UTMB’s Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, has seen terrific success with the LINX Reflux Management System, which uses a magnetic augmentation device that acts as a reflux barrier. She says the vast majority of patients treated with LINX experience instant relief.

Dr. Sarah Samreen recently sat down to discuss minimally-invasive bariatric surgery as a potential treatment option for obesity, and how she and her team at UTMB set patients up for success before, during, and after the procedure. Watch the short video here.
