The Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society (ECTSS) is pleased to announce Dr. Susana Fortich as the recipient of this year's David Campbell Scholarship for Residents. This scholarship aims to support and inspire residents aspiring to careers in cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Fortich will be honored at the ECTSS 62nd Annual Meeting in Naples, Florida this September, where she will also have the opportunity to present her research. 

The Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society is committed to elevating the standards of patient care in cardiothoracic surgery. Our mission involves educating healthcare professionals and the public, supporting research, and enhancing thoracic surgical training programs. We also advocate for thoracic surgeons and their patients at the national level.
