Debra Burkley was recently featured as a 2024 Woman of Influence by the Galveston Daily News. Mrs. Burkley, who has worked with the Division of Urology as a residency program coordinator for 16 years, is devoted to caring for her community, residents, co-workers, and congregation at her church.

A message from Mrs. Burkley: 

"WOW!!  To this day, I am not exactly sure who selected me for this honor.  Just for someone to even mention my name as one of Galveston’s successful women in a leadership role is a blessing.  For this, I am both grateful and honored to have been selected as one of Galveston County’s 2024 ‘Woman of Influence.’"
