The Southern Thoracic Surgical Association (STSA) Scholarship Committee has selected UTMB General Surgery Resident Cynthia Kassab, MD as a recipient of a 2022 STSA Scholarship.
As a recipient of this award, Dr. Kassab has been invited to attend the upcoming STSA 69th Annual Meeting at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 9-12, 2022.
She is one of two recipients of this 2022 scholarship among many national and international applicants.
Dr. Kassab has a great interest in Thoracic surgery and strives to have an inspirational influence on women in surgery.
