The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) honored breast cancer survivors for National Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day on Wednesday, October 19th with events at our Galveston, Clear Lake, and League City Campuses. The event was
a fantastic success!
Schedule of events:
- 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.: Breakfast and breast health information will be shared
with the public in the UTMB Health Jennie Sealy Hospital on the Galveston Campus
- Noon – 1 p.m.: Lunch and breast health information will be shared with the public
in the lobby of the UTMB Health Clear Lake Hospital
- 5 – 7 p.m.: A bra decorating competition, vendor fair, patient testimonials,
breast health myth-busting sessions, and more will be part of this fun-filled evening in the Sky Bridge of the League City Hospital Campus
These festivities are made possible by members of the Breast Health care team that specializes in breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and plastic surgery options.
