
Stefanos Boukovalas, MD (PGY-6 in Plastic Surgery) returned from the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM) conference in Palm Desert, California, where he won an award for presenting the best scientific paper of the conference entitled: "Restoration of Spinopelvic Continuity with the Free Fibula Flap after Limb-Sparing Oncologic Resection". It was selected to be presented as one of the "Outstanding Papers" during the joint session of the American Society for Hand Surgery, American Society of Peripheral Nerve, and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery on Saturday, February 2, 2019 representing ASRM.
