University of Texas Medical Branch Graduate Medical Education (GME) Meal Stipend Program Policy Effective September 1, 2020
All residents and fellows will receive funds on their current Meal card. Cards will be reloaded throughout the year so please keep track of your Meal card.
Meal cards for new House Staff will be distributed to program coordinators.
Group A will receive $45 for the entire year. Group B will receive $215 for the entire year.

To help ensure that Meal card funds are adequately spent, we have made some changes to how funds will be dispersed. This year, funds will be allocated via the distribution chart below:

* Anyone with a balance over $50 will not receive additional funds for third and fourth quarters.
Use of funds for the fourth quarter will be determined by the GMEC Chief Resident and HOA Officers Subcommittee during their April meeting. Fund allocation for the fourth quarter will be forthcoming.
REPLACEMENT CARD: If your card is lost or stolen, please report it to the GME Office immediately. The card may still be used until it is deactivated. There is a $25 fee to replace a meal card that has been lost or stolen.
