SGA Presents: Plazapalooza 2023
The UTMB Office of Student Life and Student Government Association are hosting the annual Plazapalooza on Thursday, September 14th. It will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on the Old Red Plaza on the Galveston Campus (914 Strand Street).
Plazapalooza is a party of the best kind! Free t-shirts, fajitas, drinks*, rockwall, yard games, student organization carnival, and more!
All students are welcome!
*ID for alcohol required and must be state/federally issued

Dia De Los Muertos - Presented by LMSA & SGA - November 4, 2024
Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos with LMSA Come join the Latino Medical Student Association and the Student Government Association in celebrating Dia de los Muertos this year on November 4th, from 5-7pm on the Old Red Lawn! Dia de Los Muertos is a special time to celebrate life, death, remembering loved ones, and celebrating the Hispanic community here in Galveston. Food will be provided catered by Bambú, as well as performances from Mariachi Azteca de América and Ballet Folclórico dancers from Ball High School!

SGA Holiday Toy Drive 2022 - December 8, 2022
The Office of Student Life and UTMB SGA collected and delivered over 250 toys for 97 children across Galveston County to enjoy this holiday season.We would like thank everyone that participated and give a special thanks to the Child Advocacy Center of Galveston County for continually allowing us to work with them on this project each year.
