Symposium Rationale

Through collaborative efforts at the University of Texas Medical Branch, this symposium aims to bring together clinicians, clinical investigators, and field and laboratory researchers to discuss current challenges and future directions in tropical and emerging infectious diseases.

The primary goal is to foster an environment that promotes multidisciplinary collaboration and exposure to diverse approaches for combating the emergence and reemergence of infectious diseases.

To achieve this, the symposium will feature:
