Trainee Travel Grants
Trainees presenting their work at the symposium are eligible to apply for travel grants to help offset costs. These grants aim to enhance accessibility and promote diversity at the Tropical and Emerging Infectious Diseases for Clinicians and Translational Scientists symposium in Galveston, Texas.
Up to 10 travel awards will be provided, covering airfare, ground transportation, and lodging. Recipients will be selected through a competitive process based on the quality of their submitted abstract and a personal statement describing how attending the symposium will support their professional development and career goals.
Childcare Grants
To support attendees with caregiving responsibilities, the symposium offers childcare grants to help offset childcare costs during the event. These grants aim to enhance accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that all trainees and professionals have the opportunity to participate fully in the symposium.
Presentation Awards
Awards will be given to the highest scoring poster presentations and to the highest scoring individuals who are selected to give an oral presentation.
