- Specialize in areas like emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, etc. after completing a core group of educational requirements.

Job Outlook
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Physician Assistants (PA) was projected to grow by 37% from 2016 to 2026. A 2015 American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) study found that more than 96% would recommend their PA career to others. U.S. News & World Report reports that in 2020, the median salary for PAs is $115,390.
