These are challenging times, economically and socially. Many individuals and families are in need, facing crisis, and looking for support. We have an opportunity to make a difference through the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC).
We are nearing the midway point for this year’s campaign; so far more than 400 UTMB employees have pledged $116,000 to support the people and the causes that are important to them.

With hundreds of charitable giving options, our contributions are feeding hungry people, providing shelter for survivors of domestic violence and displaced individuals, helping with job training programs, enhancing education, health initiatives, environmental issues, animal causes and much more. Next week we’ll be honoring the sacrifices of our veterans; wouldn’t a pledge to an organization supporting veterans be the perfect tribute?
