Aug 5, 2024, 09:34 AM by SCOA

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Alexis King to our team as a Program Manager. Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in talent management, financial planning, and organizational development. Alexis joins us from Dril-Quip, where she served as a Human Resource Generalist. In this role, she consulted with area management to provide HR guidance, analyzed trends and metrics to develop solutions and policies, and managed multifaceted employee relations issues with thorough and objective investigations.

Alexis is a proud BOI, born and raised in Galveston. She and her wife are busy parents to two boys, ages 7 and 10, who are actively involved in sports and robotics competitions. Alexis enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with their large and close knit family, and cheering on her youngest sister, who plays Division I softball at the University of Houston.

Previously, Alexis was the Administrative Manager for the Department of Nutrition, Metabolism, and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Health Professions. Additionally, Alexis served as an Administrative Associate in the Office of Academic and Student Affairs at UTMB and as a Program Coordinator for the Master of Health Professions program. Please join us in welcoming Alexis King back to UTMB and congratulating her on her new role as Program Manager.
