Dr. Nir Accepted to NIA Butler-Williams Program

UTMB Pepper Center Scholar Guy Nir, PhD has been selected to participate in the 2023 Butler-Williams Scholars Program sponsored by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). He will be joining a select group of scientists who have experienced a long-standing tradition of information sharing and network building made available through this unique career advancement opportunity over more than three decades. Since 1987, NIA’s Butler-Williams Scholars Program has offered an intensive experience on issues, opportunities, and challenges of research on aging, with an emphasis on disparities and health equity. The first 30 years of the Program are described in this report.
