Dr. Pappadis Collaborates with Chronic Brain Injury Task Force on Special Issue
Monique Pappadis, MEd, PhD collaborated with the Chronic Brain Injury Task Force of American College of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) on a special issue, Brain Injury Professional: Brain Injury as a Chronic Condition Current State of the Knowledge. Dr. Pappadis contributed several articles and did an interview with a brain injury survivor in this interdisciplinary academic effort.
Brain Injury Professional enjoys the largest circulation of any publication on the subject of brain injury, and is published on behalf of NABIS and IBIA by HDI Publishers. In print and on-line, over 50,000 multidisciplinary professional receive each issue.
Dr. Pappadis is a fellow in the Sealy Center on Aging as well as a Scholar in the Texas Resource Center for Minority Aging (Texas RCMAR) and UTMB Pepper Center.
