A Message from the Executive Vice President, Provost, and Dean, John Sealy School of Medicine

Dear colleagues,

Please join me in celebrating the achievements of one of our John Sealy School of Medicine MD program students! Tracy Tang will pursue her MBA as a Laidlaw Scholar at Oxford University.

As a Laidlaw Scholar, Ms. Tang will attend the Saïd Business School at Oxford, located in the United Kingdom. Laidlaw Scholarship recipients are extraordinary women who have a passion for gender equality and have demonstrated their commitment to leading change in their sector. She is one of 10 Oxford MBA applicants to be selected for this honor.

Ms. Tang looks forward to bridging her interests in medicine and business. She is grateful for UTMB John Sealy School of Medicine’s support in her endeavors and plans to incorporate what she learns in her practice as a future physician.
