Matthew "Matt" Graham

Director, Faculty Group Practice

Matt Graham serves as a Director of the Faculty Group Practice, supporting the growth and development of the UTMB clinical enterprise across its four campuses and more than 90 clinic locations. Matt’s work includes strategy, operations planning and data analysis to support the clinical enterprise.

Matt has over 10 years of experience in healthcare. Before joining UTMB, Matt worked as a Director of Business Projects in Phoenix, Arizona for Banner Health. There he led a team of operations consultants and managed a portfolio of $65M+ capital and operational transformation projects across Banner Medical Group’s 200-plus clinic locations. His experience included oversight of large development projects, deployments of ambient documentation resources and management of compensation metrics for the medical group. Matt’s early career experience included three years as a Human Resources Generalist for a critical access hospital where he managed all components of talent management and the employee experience.

Matt earned his Master of Health Administration from the University of Washington School of Public Health and his Bachelor of Health Administration from Brigham Young University – Idaho. He attributes his greatest development as a leader to the exceptional mentorship opportunities he has received from various executives throughout his career and seeks to serve and develop those around him as often as he can.

When he is not at work Matt enjoys spending time with his young family, exploring the outdoors, fishing, running, and watching and playing sports.
