Maryam Ali

Maryam is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade. She began her career in the corporate sector before transitioning to healthcare, where she has spent the past five years, moving from research roles to administrative positions.  

Maryam began her healthcare journey at MD Anderson, where she gained valuable experience before joining UTMB in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and is currently completing a dual MHA/MBA program, further enhancing her expertise in healthcare management and business administration. 

Beyond her professional commitments, Maryam is passionate about giving back to her community through volunteer work. In her downtime, she enjoys quality moments with her family and traveling with her husband to explore new destinations and cultures.
