Marisol Gomez

Marisol Gomez joined the Provost’s Office in January 2023. Marisol started her healthcare career in 2015. She joined UTMB in 2018 as a Patient Service Specialist for the UTMB Urgent Care Clinic in Alvin. She was later given the opportunity to work for primary and specialty care. In 2022 she joined the StarSquad, a newly formed float pool for UTMB, where she also took on the role of being a Kronos timekeeper. Marisol transitioned to the Procurement Team as she felt ready to face new challenges and learn new skills.  

Marisol is currently working on a degree in cardiovascular sonography, which she hopes to use at UTMB. When she is not supporting the Procurement Team, she likes to spend time with her family and her dog, Penelope, and she also loves to travel.
