Loreal Hawthorne joined the Provost’s Office as an Administrative Coordinator in November 2024, providing essential support to the Faculty Group Practice. In her role, Loreal is responsible for a range of administrative duties for executive leadership, including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reimbursement processing. Her work is integral to ensuring efficient operations and enabling leadership to focus on strategic priorities. 

Prior to joining the Provost’s Office, Loreal served as a Patient Services Specialist, where she was a critical referral liaison. In this capacity, she facilitated scheduling, collaborated closely with clinical staff, and placed a strong emphasis on prioritizing patient care—a testament to her commitment to service excellence. 

Loreal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Loreal enjoys traveling and cherishing time with her loved ones.
