Katharine Gibson joined the Provost’s Office in July 2024. Katharine is an Administrative Specialist who supports the Academic Enterprise as part of the Procurement Team. Katharine finds professional fulfillment in problem solving and supporting teams pulling together toward common goals. 

Before joining the Provost’s Office in 2024, Katharine worked for 16 years for various organizations, including Kibo Commerce, Kong Design, and Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group. Katharine’s professional experience spans many areas including purchasing coordination, accounts payable, project management, event planning, executive support, customer service, and custom merchandise and design. 

Katharine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing communications and business administration from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is working toward further developing her skills as an administrative specialist and project management professional. 

When she is not providing administrative support, Katharine enjoys small craft projects, playing games, watching movies, hiking with her boyfriend, and playing fetch with their dog.
