Administrative Assistant

Jennifer Patenia joined the Academic Enterprise Service Center (AESC) in August 2021. Jennifer is one of the team members of the AESC who supports the Travel and Entertainment Team by providing outstanding customer service. Jennifer always strives to do things right the first time, is very detail oriented, and quality of work is one of her assets.  

Prior to UTMB, Jennifer has been an Executive Assistant for 20-plus years, and a Computer Programmer/Instructor and Data Analyst/Specialist with Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Fort Bend Independent School District and Hawaii Straub Hospital.

  Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in business administration , and an associate degree in secretarial.

Jennifer loves to bowl. She competes in different city, state and national bowling tournaments and is a member of the United State Bowling Congress. Jennifer loves to cook and enjoys the company of friends and family.
