Jennifer Anderson

Jennifer Anderson has an established career based in customer service and interaction with employees and is passionate about her work. With her team-based approach she is well networked within UTMB and possesses a strong skillset in her area of expertise. She joined UTMB in July 1996 and throughout her career has worked in various areas, including Payroll, Office of the Provost, School of Nursing, ASG V and AESC – HR Service Center.   

She has also been involved in many projects at UTMB, including the implementation of PeopleSoft, which included the MSS forms.  She served on the Employee Advisory Council from 2011 to 2016, where she was a vital member and liaison for administrative staff at the department level. She also worked at UT Health Science Center in Houston for two years in HR – Compensation.  

In April 2021, she joined the Provost’s Office and is responsible for operational management related to Provost’s Office operations; special projects as assigned by the Provost, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff; and management of annual compliance metrics and performance/HR documents, tracking and ordering computers, etc. 

Jennifer is happily married to Ryan Anderson and together they have two children, Paige and Macie.  In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys playing various recreational sports such as basketball, racquetball, pickleball and tennis.
