Administrative Specialist

Hillary K. Goodgion joined the Academic Enterprise Service Center in October 2022. Hillary is an Administrative Specialist who supports the Procurement Team by working closely with departments and vendors to navigate ordering and make sure requests are filled. Hillary believes, "One of the deep secrets of life is that all that is really worth doing is what we do for others." – Lewis Carroll.

Before joining the AE Service Center, Hillary spent four years in the UTMB Emergency Department working overnight with the registration team. Here she gained a deeper love for the excellent care that UTMB provides to the island. Prior to joining UTMB in 2018, she spent six years working at HH Design House, a small local business creating custom cards and invitations for the families of Galveston. Working for a small word-of-mouth-driven company taught her customer service skills she would carry on with her, as well as deepening her love for the island community where she grew up.

Hillary spends her free time with her daughter, Hailey, and a house full of rescue animals. They enjoy the endless adventures, festivals and friends here on the island, as well as seeing shows in Houston and traveling to visit family and see new places.
