Delilah Hymas

Delilah Hymas joined the Academic Enterprise Service Center (AESC) in November 2019. Delilah is one of the original team members of the AESC, having joined when the center first launched. Delilah is a Team Lead who supports the Travel and Entertainment Team by providing exceptional service and subject matter expertise in many areas. Delilah enjoys what she does and being part of an awesome team. 

Delilah came to UTMB in 2013 with over 30 years’ career experience, 21 of which were in the aerospace industry. Her previous experience includes the Texas Medical Center Corporation, United Space Alliance, and AlliedSignal/Bendix. Before joining the AE Service Center in 2019, Delilah worked in UTMB’s Department of Otolaryngology for over six years. 

Delilah is a Certified Administrative Professional, certified by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) since 2003.  

When she is not leading the team, Delilah enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, son-in-law, and grandson. They enjoy traveling, visiting museums, and eating out. Delilah has a love for sled dog breeds and has owned several Alaskan Malamutes. She is Vice President of the Texas Alaskan Malamute Rescue and Treasurer for the Alaskan Malamute Club of Greater Houston.
