Crystal Baker

Administrative Manager

Crystal Baker joined the Provost’s Office in March 2024. Crystal is an Administrative Manager who provides support to the Chief Academic Officer.

Crystal’s career at UTMB began in 2011, where she served as a Patient Affairs Specialist in the Community Based Clinics for 9 years. For the past 3 years, Crystal supported ASGII as an Administrative Manager in the departments of Internal Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and SCOA. Prior to joining UTMB, Crystal was an elementary school teacher and considers herself to be a lifelong educator and advocate at heart.

Crystal holds a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Community Service from the University of North Texas.

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their sweet beagle pup. They enjoy taking beach vacations in the summer, going to Astros games, friends and family game nights, and entertaining out by their pool.
