Christine Young joined the Provost’s Office in June 2024. Christine is an Administrative Manager who supports the Faculty Group Practice by developing efficient processes around new and existing initiatives within the organization and bringing enterprise-impacting projects to life. Christine knows that the work she does every day will help improve the lives of thousands of patients, assist providers in meeting their needs, and enhance patient care for the underserved.
Before joining the Provost’s Office in 2024, Christine spent a year as an Administrative Fellow for the UTMB Health System while serving as the Director of Special Projects for the American College of Healthcare Executives – Southeast Texas Chapter.
Christine holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in public health from Texas A&M University. Through her involvement in various professional organizations and research initiatives, she continues to work toward her goal to provide equitable, accessible, high-quality care for all individuals regardless of socioeconomic or geographic background.
When she is not at work, Christine enjoys making charcuterie boards, aquascaping, Neocardinia shrimp keeping, fencing recreationally, training her Maltipoo (Angie) for her therapy dog certification, and spending time with her friends and family.
