Ashley Wyers

Ashley Wyers joined UTMB’s Office of the Provost as a Business Manager in March 2024. She strongly supports the Provost's Office through development and implementation of strategic plans to assure fiscal growth, solvency and accountability.  

Before joining the Provost’s Office, Ashley was a paralegal for eight years; six of those years were spent with the Ard Law Firm, where she supported her attorney by handling Medicaid cases, estate planning cases, Veterans Affairs cases (non-service connected) and crisis planning. During this time, she collaborated with state and VA officials, clients and fellow paralegals.  

Ashley holds a B.A. in Human Resources Management from American Military University, an A.A.S in Paralegal Studies from San Jacinto College and is currently pursuing her MBA with a HR Concentration at Louisiana State University Shreveport.

Outside of her busy schedule she enjoys being outdoors, hiking and barbecuing with family, friends and her dog, Maxx.
