Pediatric Faculty and the UTMB Academy of Master Teachers

The UTMB Academy of Master Teachers (AMT) is an honorary service organization to recognize Master Teachers and to provide faculty development opportunities for all UTMB Faculty.  Membership is by application and selection against a set of standards. Members serve five-year terms and may be honored with the designation as University of Texas Distinguished Teaching Professors.

We would like to congratulate the newest Pediatric Faculty to join the AMT.

Dr. Marie Dawlett is a Pediatric Hospitalist and has been in the Department of Pediatrics since 2008.  She is currently the Medical Director for the UTMB Clear Lake Hospital newborn nursery and still finds time to be highly involved in many medical education efforts.
