Gynecology Oncology Partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center

Women’s Specialty Care wouldn’t be complete without a team dedicated to the screening, treatment and follow-up oversight of patients with both malignant and premalignant abnormalities of the genital tract. The Gynecologic Oncology physicians, nurses and staff at the University of Texas Medical Branch are dedicated to providing the most current and comprehensive care to women with complex gynecologic problems and suspected or diagnosed cancers of the female reproductive tracts.

In addition, a special focus of our group is the evaluation and treatment of patients with abnormal Pap tests and other abnormal screening tests suggesting pre-malignant disease. Additional diagnostic services, including colposcopy, cryotherapy, and loop diathermy (LEEP) are available.
