Trieu Huu Do, MD is a current PGY5,
FPMRS fellow at UTMB department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a
Vietnamese native who came to the United States at the age of seventeen. He
earned his B.S in biology from University of Missouri in Kansas City with Summa
Cum Laude Honor. Trieu then completed two years of stem cell research at the
Stowers Institute for Medical Research before he pursued his medical degree at
University of Missouri in Columbia. Upon graduating from medical school, he
finished the obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wayne State University/
Detroit Medical Center. His research interests focus on surgical outcomes for
female urinary incontinence and pelvic floor reconstructive surgeries. In his
free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking and teaching obstetrics and
gynecology in Vietnam with a strong vision to improve women’s health in his
hometown.
