Overview of UTMB Survey Results

Results of our first Wellbeing Survey

The survey ended on April 19, 2024. In June, we began sharing overview results with UTMB leadership followed by more detailed survey results. Please check with your leadership to find out when your area’s results will be shared with you.  This website has our data for various benchmarked careers.

Reading the results

  • The heat map report is an overview of all the information in the individual reports with red indicating opportunities for improvement and green indicating areas of strength. The paler the color indicates values close to the average.

  • Links to each benchmarked category report can be found in the results section; please click on each of the reports to open.  These are known as PWAC 2.3 reports.

  • In each report you will find response rates, ‘fuel gages’ for outcome measures along with scores on each question set. The first table compares the group to similar employees across the nation that are part of the Professional Wellbeing Academic Consortium (PWAC). The last table compares the same group to our organizational average. We recommend looking at the data comparison to our organization and not PWAC simply because more comparisons are available and because (in most cases) the comparisons are similar.

About PWAC

A group of more than 25 other academic medical centers, PWAC is actively researching the drivers of professional fulfillment and the optimal approaches to wellbeing within health care.
