HRMS Analysis of Small Molecules
High-resolution, high mass accuracy analysis is available for small molecules. Samples are directly infused into an Orbitrap mass spectrometer with resolving powers of up to 120,000.
Samples should be prepared as follows:
- Concentrations between 1 and 50 μM
- Samples dissolved in 50-80% methanol or acetonitrile using LCMS grade solvents
- Provide 1 mL of the solvent that was used to dissolve and prepare samples to be used as a blank
- Alternatively: Provide approx. 1 mg or more of dried sample that we can dissolve into an appropriate solvent
