| Specimen Requirements: | Per ASCO/CAP guidelines breast tissue must be fixed in formalin for a minimum of 6 hours to a maximum of 48 hours before undergoing HER2 testing. The time must be documented on the specimen container and in the clinical history in Epic Beaker. |
