Causes for Rejection: | Clotted, hemolyzed, collected in wrong tube, improperly stored and/or transported, identification error.

Normal = normal G6PD activity; no evidence of deficiency. Borderline = may indicate G6PD deficiency, recommend confirmation with quantitative assay. Deficient = markedly decreased G6PD activity; consistent with G6PD deficiency, recommend confirmation with quantitative assay.
