UTMB Faculty and Staff Simulation Methodology and Interprofessional Education Best Practice Development Series:
Faculty and Staff may attend all the sessions or pick and choose which sessions they would like to attend. The goal of this free educational initiative is to develop a comprehensive training series geared towards introducing faculty and staff to simulation methodology and interprofessional education best practices. This series is for both those new to simulation and interprofessional education and those with previous experience that want to enhance their skillset. This series will focus on enhancing instructional techniques across various health disciplines, promoting best practice, active learning, and improving faculty and student engagement and learning outcomes.
All sessions are held at the Health Education Center, 5.200 from 2-3pm.
The University of Texas Medical Branch is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
UTMB CME designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Louisiana State Nurses Association – Approver, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. LSNA Provider No. 4002176.
Up to 1.0 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours will be provided. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
