The Greater Texas Gulf Coast Engage Me Series (GTX-GEMS) is a monthly event (September-May) held at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) on the Galveston Campus and hosted by the UTMB Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice. The goal of GTX-GEMS is to offer a venue for open discussion on health topics that are pertinent to the well-being of the great Gulf Coast region. As the region's leading educator of healthcare providers, UTMB is one part of the equation with the capacity to lead the region towards a healthier future by fostering interprofessional community engagement and partnerships that benefit the health of the entire region.

Attendees are able to earn 1.5 CME/CNE for each GTX-GEMS event.
