Welcome Dr. Nadia Ahmed
Dr. Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Medicine with a focus on community medicine and medical education. In this role, she cares for patients in community safety net clinics and is heavily involved
with the John Scaly School of Medicine. She completed her bachelor s degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her medical degree, completed internal medicine residency, and a chief resident year all at UTMB.
Welcome Dr. Mary Suna Wilkerson
Dr. Wïlkerson is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Medicine. She will assume the role as a clinical educator working with medical students and residents in the school of medicine and in community safety
net clinics. Her areas of interest include utilizing technology in medical student education and quality improvement. Dr. Wilkerson graduated from the UTMB School of Medicine in 2019, then completed her internship and residency in Internal Medidne
at UTMB. She has received recognition for her quality of patient care and teaching, including the Thayer Teaching Award, St. Vincent's Departmental Award, and Outstanding Overall Third Year Resident Award.
