  • Dr. Khalife is a Professor of Medicine at the UTMB Division of Cardiology. His educational background includes Heart Failure/Transplant Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Heart Institute and Cardiology Fellowship at UTMB. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease, Heart Failure and transplantation, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

    Dr. Khalife is currently the section head of the Heart Failure Program and the Director of the Cardiovascular Fellowship Program at UTMB. He is interested in invasive cardiology, invasive heart failure, transplant, and cardiology imaging. Dr. Khalife has been part of multiple national and international clinical trials. He has multiple ongoing clinical projects and has many publications and presentations in national and international conferences.
