UTMB recently celebrated Employee Service Day by honoring over 1,200 employees for their years of service and commitment to the university. Service pins were given in five year increments, with 40 years being the longest tenure honored. Collectively, these recipients represent 15,700 years of service to the university and its mission.  Nearly 300 GEM recipients were also recognized for going the extra mile in their daily activities.
